Measuring Instructions : When measuring for a wood screen door, be sure to measure the exact spot where the screen door will be attached.
Typically, the screen door is hung on the “exterior brick-mold trim” , “brick-mold” is just the name they use for the trim that surrounds the outside of your door frame. It it usually 1″ thick(the edge the hinge will screw into) , wood, and varies in width. This is the trim that stands vertical on both sides of the door and one piece across the top of the door. Measure your door opening height from the top to the bottom of your doorway and the width at the top , at the middle and at the bottom of your doorway.
